Some highlights and lowlights of the trip were (in no particular order) -- I was able to spent time in Pattaya with my friend from Leeds, England who I have known for about seven years I made two new friends through my British friend's British friend All of the flights went smoothly and I only had one bad experience with a fellow passenger -- "The Elbow Man" I got my booster/extender/repeater to work so that I could use my laptop I was able to check out a few condominiums in Cebu in order to plan for potential retirement there Getting upgraded from a Standard room to a Superior room at Pillows Hotel Cebu, plus getting complimentary breakfasts The 12-hour layover in South Korea's airport Forgetting some things (e.g., camera upload cable) Not easily finding my friend's place for dinner on January 4th National/International Crisis This time, nothing happened.
