My friend and I went on the trip again this year. Some highlights were --
1) We saw a cow and its calves
2) Entire mountainsides of trees had burned-out trees
3) Campsite markers were gone
4) Our friend was greeted by an eagle
5) That was the first time that we never saw anyone else during a trip
6) We saw nearly no chipmunks or squirrels
7) Few fish breached the surface of "the lake"
8) Fewer fish were caught than usual
9) It was the first time that we left "the lake" prematurely
